
In a ceremony brimming with excitement and anticipation, the Rotaract Club of Bwebajja celebrated the installation of its seventh Club President on July 10, 2025. Held at the serene Lakeside Hall in Entebbe, the event welcomed community leaders, Rotary sponsors, club alumni, and enthusiastic members eager to witness the transition of leadership.
Outgoing President Godfrey Lubuuka Kizza known for his “Magic of Rotary” theme opened this oath-taking of President Rose Mary Nnamuleme, whose 2025–2026 motto, “Unite for Good,” signals a new chapter of collaboration and collective impact. Rose Mary, a dedicated advocate for youth empowerment and inclusive service, received the presidential collar from Rotary Club of Bwebajja President, Jane Akena, symbolizing trust, responsibility, and the promise of service above self.
“The Rotaract Club of Bwebajja has always stood for innovation, excellence, and unity,” said outgoing President Godfrey. “Under Rose Mary’s leadership, we’ll strengthen our community bonds, elevate our projects, and ensure that all member’s talents are harnessed for the greater good.” His final report highlighted record-breaking membership growth, a surge in district awards, and landmark projects.
In her inaugural address, President Rose Mary outlined an ambitious roadmap centered on cross-sector partnerships and youth-led solutions. She emphasized launching a district-wide mentorship network to connect club members with industry professionals, scaling mobile health clinics to adjacent communities, and piloting green-energy workshops in collaboration with local businesses. “Our strength lies in unity,” she declared. “By forging strategic alliances and embracing every voice in our club, we will amplify our service—and truly unite for good.”
The evening concluded with a vibrant cultural showcase featuring performances by local dance troupes and a gallery of photographs highlighting six years of service. Attendees enjoyed networking over Ugandan delicacies and pledged renewed commitment to support the incoming leadership.
As the seventh president takes the helm, the Rotaract Club of Bwebajja embarks on its most collaborative year yet poised to deepen its impact and inspire the next generation of community leaders.
